In order to start the process, please reach out at minimum 6 months prior to your event. As a tailoring boutique, we design a limited amount of bespoke garments annually. This is to insure each client receives a quality, individualized, experience; while working one on one with our lead designer.
Bespoke attire is created for individuals who want focus on their unique size, style, and personality! During this 90 minute session we will discuss initial ideas, timeline, Budget, policies and procedures. There is no obligation to hire ALyece, but if you decide to move forward, there is a non refundable retainer fee is $600. This holds your place on our work calendar and covers the expenses of your design consultation. This fee does not go towards the production of your gown.
We will book this appointment three weeks after your choice to move forward. This gives us time to send design contracts, create an initial construction plan, and pull fabric samples based on your initial ideas. This meeting can be held in person or virtually. We will narrow down design details and fabric choices. Together we will go over your body analysis and which styles will compliment not only your figure but your personal syle.
After this meeting ALyece will take time to perfect you sketches, create a final construction plan to your specification and send your design proposal including your no obligation price estimate.
Once the estimate and design agreement are approved, a 60 percent deposit will be due. After deposit and contracts are recieved and signed by both parties, the fun begins.
ALyece will schedule an in person or virtual fitting to take full measurents. For virtual appointments you must have someone to assist in taking measurements with our guidance.
Once most of the major design decisions are made, I will get to work draping on your uniquely-sized dressform and pencil drafting a one-of-a-kind dress pattern exclusively from your measurements. I will then use the pattern to construct a sample dress, (also called a mock-up, toile or muslin), out of inexpensive fabrics for you to try on.
We will have our first mock-up fitting in person or right in my studio. At this point we will make all neccessary adjustments to your "test dress" and fine tune the design. During this phase I will also be sending fabric samples. If there are any changes you want or need this is the time it has to be done. Anyprice adjustment from the changes will be discussed.
For the first time you will try on your custom gown in your fashion fabric! We will take this time to fine tune everything and make decisions on your ebellishments, finishings and linings.
We will add all embellishments and finishings you chose. This is your opportunity see how you will look and feel in your complete look, including your accessories. At this time we may also still need to mark your hem.

Now its a wrap! We have come to the end of our design journey together. We will sign final design approval and release agreements and schedule yourdress pick up. You may choose to take it same day or to store it in my studio until the week of.
Gown will be added to bust form, steamed, and pressed before release. Any steaming needed after this will be at an extra steaming fee. Fee info can be found to the right.
